These Terms of Service govern your use of the pause. iOS application and website at pauseapp.app, operated by Pascalle, Inc. By downloading or using pause., you agree to these terms.
1. Use of the app
pause. is an iOS application that analyzes draft messages before you send them. You must be 17 or older to use the app, consistent with its App Store rating. You agree to use pause. only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others.
2. Your content
When you paste a draft message into pause. for analysis, that content is processed by Anthropic's API and immediately discarded. We do not store, log, or retain the content of your messages. Your message history is stored locally on your device only. You retain full ownership of everything you write.
3. Subscriptions and billing
pause. offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store and subject to Apple's payment terms. You can cancel at any time through your Apple ID account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy.
4. Disclaimer of warranties
pause. is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The feedback provided by pause. is for informational purposes only — it is not a substitute for professional advice, legal, therapeutic, or otherwise. We do not guarantee that the AI analysis will always be accurate.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pascalle, Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of pause., including any outcomes resulting from messages you chose to send or not send based on the app's analysis.
6. Intellectual property
The pause. app, brand, design, and all associated content are owned by Pascalle, Inc. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer any part of the app without our written permission.
7. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of pause. after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, United States.
